I grew up in Liverpool North West of England with my older sister Leah. We were brought up by my mum, who always made sure we had what we wanted even though she struggled, but we got by with what we had.
I had my son at an early age, which was very hard for me, but I got through it and battled on, he is very supportive of what I do and comes to as many shows as possible. I didn’t get into bodybuilding straight away I have done lots of other things before this, I was a children’s entertainer which was my first business venture which was both interesting and challenging and being a magician helped keep the kids entertained.
I did this for a couple of years whilst always thinking of the future, I trained part time as a make-up artist/special effects consultant, which I loved as it brought out my artistic flair, once qualified I went on to work as a make-up artist for various studio’s and photographers, which lead to me developing my skills further into Beauty Therapy which I did culminating in a five year degree, which I passed.
So I worked in various different salons as a therapist which was great fun but I was always busy doing lots of other things, which then brought me to taking over a gym, and that’s where the bodybuilding started, firstly training as an instructor and then wanting to develop my own body to the point that my next natural step was to compete in local and national shows.
So I set about entering a few competitions and started to win so I entered more until I had won everything that I could, all that was left was to turn professional and that is were I am now and loving every minute of it except for all the rice & Chicken.
But now a new experience has come along In the form of my twins, I remember saying to my fella one night I think I'd like twins and as if by magic or something like that 8months later to that night I was screaming and shouting for pain relief and then my new girls were here. And how gorgeous are they well I'm there mum so I guess im gonna feel that way, but the amount of times I'm stopped in the street I'm starting to think everyone else thinks so too....
Are they good ? Who cares with smiles like that they could get away with anything.
So thats me....
